Feel Good Friday: Hot Tracks For A Cool Weekend

With the first phase of North Coast Music Festival dropped, our antsy pants are officially on. The return of festival season is near, and although North Coast is far and away, the initial chunk of the lineup looks pretty solid so far. Personal standouts for ‘summer’s last stand’ include Big Gigantic, Madeon, and Cherub (free samples provided below).

We’re sorry for being mysterious this week. Unfortunately, it was moving week at Rager Onions. The moving process itself wasn’t too bad. Most of the time was spent shooting Kodak moments with our disposable cameras, eating pizza, and of course: scrapbooking about it all afterwards.

So with that said, Happy Friday. Go Bulls, Go Blackhawks, go bunny.

See you on Monday.

That Russian Dub — Tim Ismag — Anthem (NEW EP) [HEAVY]

We couldn’t find much about Tim Ismag. Maybe he’s taking a break from his recent dive into espionage as a secret agent. Maybe he’s a former Russian chef, throwing cuisine to the curb and taking on the darker art of dubstep.

Maybe, Tim Ismag just released his new EP, and titled it Anthem. Oh wait no, he did do that. And it’s out now on Ultragore Records. And according to his Facebook, he doesn’t have a manager either. Maybe he’s a business man? Who knows.

But the highlight of his album is without question the first track, “Dubstep Planet Anthem”.

And that’s real.
