Tommy Trash – Monkey In Love (Original Mix) [Electro House]

Thomas Olsen, aka Tommy Trash, has gradually become one of Australia’s most influential and identifiable EDM talents in the game today. The 25 year old Aussie known for his massive remixes and talented production skills has captured our attention once again, this time with a refreshingly original track that fits Tommy’s up-tempo, balls-off-the-walls style.

Monkey In Love‘, released on Size Records, proves Tommy Boy’s dedication to constantly providing his fans with entertaining and authentic material. In this track, he plays with a wide variety of distinctly unique sounds; and when choreographed and mastered correctly, the result is pure, blissful, unadulterated madness. A grimy, dub bassline, euphoric synths, and that ever-identifiable electro house sound that is Tommy Trash.

Sir Olsen has been busy the last few months, releasing three collaborations with the likes of Sub Focus, Destructo, and Sebastian Ingrosso. Tommy has been good to his fans so far in 2013, and I think it’s safe to say he’ll be gearing up for possibly his biggest set of the year at arguably the biggest festival of the year, Tomorrowland 2013. For those unfortunate enough to not grab a ticket in the one second it sold out, the festival will be streamed in its’ entirety on the world wide web.

Check back here all weekend long to catch a glimpse of some of your favorite artists streamed live on the Tomorrowland website. Including that guy in the picture next to Tommy awkwardly staring into the distance contemplating his existence.

Wrong time and place, brosellini. Somebody get that guy a drink.

Remember the Name: John Dish [ARTIST SPOTLIGHT] [HAPPY] [FREE DL]

You may have heard the name John before, and you might even know what a dish is used for. But did you know that when you combine the two, you get a person? Not just any person, this is John Dish we’re talking about. AKA The Dish Man. Dish-a-ronee. Serving up plates of delicious, hard hitting bass lines to quench your aural hunger. Extremely new to the EDM scene, we first heard him on Fedde Le Grand’s Dark Light Sessions when he blew us away with his original track, ‘Kaarma’.  After some quick investigating the crew at Rager Onions came to the conclusion that this Colombian DJ was not going to be another one hit wonder, but had massive potential to becoming a household name in Electronic Dance Music.

Recently signed to Flamingo Records, John has already received support from an impressive group of DJ’s and producers – Fedde Le Grand, Hardwell, Axwell, Tiesto, Sebastian Ingrosso, Tommy Trash, Deniz Koyu, Chuckie, Matisse & Sadko, and many more.

Please, don’t take our word for it. Plug your speakers in, turn up the volume, and prepare to fist pump so hard it’ll feel like Jersey Shore 2008.

Bass Meant To Be Felt, Not Heard: Destroid — The Invasion EP [HEAVY][Massive Collaboration]

Slowly but surely, artists in EDM have been teaming up to create super-group identities.

Steve Angello, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso = Swedish House Mafia

Skrillex, Boys Noize = Dog Blood

ATrak, Armand Van Helden = Duck Sauce

Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen = Knife Party

Skrillex, Diplo = Jack U (This is a new artist persona in the making. The duo is set to reveal their new identity during the Mad Decent Block Party Tour.)

Excision, Downlink, and KJ Sawka (former Pendulum drummer) = Destroid

Not many artists are known for having bass so heavy that ear cavities don’t suffice; bass so deep that it can best be described as a feeling that overtakes your entire body upon impact. After releasing their two singles ‘Raise Your Fist‘ and ‘Blast Off’ on their own independent label, the crew has released their first album titled The Invasion. The group has also picked San Francisco for their first live show at the end of the month. What will set Destroid apart from most modern day shows is their use of futuristic symbols and videos to convey underlying social media and marketing concepts. They also create online graphic novels to create a stir about future work.

Their tagline: Elevate Your Existence.
