Motivational Monday with Diplo, Flux and Friends 2013 [BBC Radio 1] [FREE DL]

1

Mondays are tough.

It’s the start of the work week, and the weekend is as far away as possible. Endorphins are at an all time low, so we wanted to help the cause. Diplo decided to let fellow dub-enthusiast Flux Pavilion take over his weekly BBC Radio 1 show ‘Diplo & Friends’ over the weekend. Flux tore it up, dropping new original mixes from some of Circus Records‘ finest young producers, as well as dropping some of his future tracks to come over the next year.

Like we said before, Mondays can be tough. Good music, good food, and good friends can help you get you through.  We can’t really help find you friends, and we are certainly not cooking for you. So for now, enjoy the music.

L.A.’s Finest Swede: Eric Prydz –Power Drive–[Happy]

Many people, from all ends of the earth, ask us – “Who is the greatest producer in the world?”

Some say Eric Prydz might just be at the top of that list. We say it’s pretty damn close.

After his latest Essential Mix (with Pete Tong) trended globally on Twitter, Pryda has released another impeccable production, ‘Power Drive’, out now on Pryda Recordings. An April Fool’s Day release immediately insinuated some sort of un-parallel universe where Eric Prydz is not in fact the hottest DJ out there.

But we were wrong. Typical Eric.

Sweet Like Hirshee [Artist Spotlight]

Hirshee is on a roll.

His expertise pinpoints all things melody with triumphant vocals and pounding bass. It all flows into one artist that just cannot be ignored. His unique style has landed on BBC Radio 1 with the likes of Fatboy Slim, Spencer & Hill, DJ Dan, Calvertron, Hatiras, Tim Healey, Dirtyloud, and Will Bailey.

Things took off quickly, but Hirshee didn’t stumble. Teaming up with Lazy Rich, the duo started Big Fish Recordings and rapidly climbed the electro charts.

Hopefully this makes your holiday hangover a bit easier to handle.

Or try using the hair of the dog that bit you.
