Group Therapy 076 With Above & Beyond and Shingo Nakamura

Last week, Above and Beyond announced the greatly anticipated destination of  #ABGT100 which takes place on October 18th. Unfortunately for anybody outside of New York, you’ll have to wait one hundred more episodes for your chance at experiencing this once in a lifetime event.

Madison Square Garden is the venue, big whoop. Real clever location A & B. However, it should be a nice paycheck at the end of the month for the legendary English trio. The pre sale ticket code can be found here: www.aboveandbeyond.nu/abgt100/

Group Therapy 076 is officially in the books, and once again the men from Above and Beyond have provided two hours of smashing hits across various universal sub-genres. With new music from Andrew Bayer, Rafael Frost and Audien as well as a guest mix by Shingo Nakamura, Group Therapy 076 lives up to the hype once again. Find the track list after the break, and don’t forget to support the musicians through SoundCloud, Facebook and Twitter.

EDX & Leventina – The Tempest (Extended Mix) [Spinnin’ Records]

Music makes me lose control, even if it’s 9:00 AM on a Tuesday.

Two names rarely covered yet happily discovered by Rager Onions, EDX and Leventina have slowly but surely climbed their respective ways up the ladder to stardom. EDX first hit the scene in 1994, releasing various mix tapes that found their way into the hands of some of the biggest names in dance music in the mid-90’s. An Italian native, EDX has remixed songs for the likes of Deadmau5, Axwell, Steve Angello, Laidback Luke, Armin Van Buuren, Kaskade and Funkagenda.

Leventina also know a thing or two about success in their own right. Andrea and Christian encapsulate the defining sound of Spinnin’ Records. Known for their masterful production work in the studio, the two young Swiss musicians find themselves near the top of the electro house charts. With a vast knowledge of the history of house music, the up and coming duo have progressed their unique, niche sound to new heights. With songs released on Unreleased Digital, S2 Records, Strictly Rhythm and Defected, Christian and Andrea have truly made a name for themselves so far in 2013.

With their latest collaboration “The Tempest”, EDX and Leventina continue to prove their worth in the industry of electronic dance music. Their latest single is available for a free download after the break. And don’t forget to support these artists by purchasing the song on Beatport.

Sick Individuals | Artist Spotlight

Since the world has had enough Miley discussion fifty times over, let’s discuss some other sick individuals. Literally.

Dutch duo Sick Individuals have been pumping out upbeat house tunes and it’s about time that their infectious sound began making waves in the EDM world. Their original productions along with their remixes of everything from Icona Pop to Savoy have gained the attention of major players such like Thomas Gold, Hardwell, and a little known trio known as Swedish House Mafia.

Their latest track, ‘I Am’, was produced in collaboration with Axwell and takes us back to the glory days of house, when dubstep and trap were just a twinkle in the god of music’s eye. The melody-driven jam is enough to make us forget our worries and just get lost in the light-as-air vocals of Taylr Renee. While we are brutally teased by the preview, the full track is forthcoming on Axtone records and it’s one we’re sure will be seeing plenty of rotation. Stay tuned.
