Not a whole lot to be said about this one. Josh Gard aka Figure is up to his old tricks again, “touching up” the nasty verses by Del the Funky Homosapien and laying down another killer beat on a jam from Hip-Hop legends Deltron 3030. This time Josh takes a crack at the politically charged tune “City Rising From Ashes”, which seems to be a common theme for these alternative hip-hopping California natives.

Figure is no slouch when it comes to remixing rap and hip-hop influenced related original tracks. In fact, Josh used to produce beats of these varieties as a living until it all finally clicked under his current moniker. It’s nice to see Mr. Gard sticking with what he knows and applying his usual appetite for destruction to crank it up a couple notches.
