We, the people of the United States of America, are at a standstill with our government. The federal workforce is shut down until further notice without pay; except for our Congress members who will receive full pay during the shutdown (because of Amendment 27 that states that Congress may not increase, freeze or cut their pay or compensation). This makes absolutely no sense. It’s a part of our legislature that has been used to our government’s advantage for years. Our system is beyond flawed; doomed seems like the better word.

Step up your game Congress, cause we don’t have time for your bullshit.

Speaking of not having time for bullshit (what a lead in), Dirty South just released the entire Speed of Life album on his SoundCloud account. The album is not set to release until March 5th, so I’m not sure why he decided to provide a free stream five months early.

But we’re not complaining.

Unless you’re talking about Congress. Then, yes, we are complaining.
