Many of you may know Alex Mind from his role as one of the two members of I.Y.F.F.E. (In Your Face Fuck Everything), a dubstep/glitch hop duo that has certainly hit the ground running over the the past two years. Pairing up with labels such as Monstercat, OWSLA and Buygore, Alex and his partner Conrad Funk have proven to be a lethal combination. Together the pair has reached the top of the Beatport charts in Drum and Bass (#2 of 100) for their winning entry of the Seven Lions remix contest of ‘Days to Come’ and Electro House (#25 of 100) for their original mix ‘Sweet‘, a collaboration between Au5, Auratic and I.Y.F.F.E..

However, since 2010, Alex Mind has been crafting Electro House bangers that have reached the top ten on Beatport four different times for that particular genre. His music has been re-played worldwide and included in sets from EDM legends such as Sander Van Doorn, Zedd and Porter Robinson.

Alex has been praised for bringing a breath of fresh air to the realm of Electro House for his unique and captivating productions which can be characterized by lunging bass, euphoric high-pitched melodies and intense drum rhythm arrangements.

His latest release titled Maelstrom is certainly no different. As the songs introduces itself, the listener will ascertain a feel for what exactly they are in store for.
