One night in Bangkok? No, this is ‘One Night’ by Matthew Koma, remixed by the absolute bomb squad: Vicetone. Far better, in our esteemed opinion.
Matthew Koma is a name that exploded onto the scene (in some part, thanks to Zedd), as you’ll recognize him as the voice from ‘Spectrum’ – one of, if not the best dance song of 2012.
But 2013 is all about Vicetone. You have to know the name by now. The Dutch duo popped up on our radar way back in November, and they’re striking digital gold again.
This is a prime time sample of two very, very, up-and-coming artists. ‘One Night‘ has it all. That foggy, retro dance bass line that Vicetone is becoming famous for. Upbeat, passionate vocals from the young and promising Matthew Koma. With smooth, electric transitions and a touch of electro-pop, this might be one of the best we’ve heard yet from the lovely Vicetone.
Love it or leave it, you better gain way. You better hit the bull’s eye, the kid don’t play. And if there was a problem, yo, I’ll solve it.
Check out the hook while my DJ revolves it.
