Beside The Point – Skrillex Wins Out at Grammys

The Grammys: our annual reminder of the music industry’s utter disarray and top-heavy foolishness. But it’s not tough to guess which DJ took a few home on Sunday.

All the EDM categories were aired during the day because, apparently, they aren’t relevant enough to be aired prime time. Obviously, we here at Rager Onions disagree. Calvin Harris was also awarded for ‘We Found Love’ feat. Rihanna. The duo won for Best Short Form Music Video.

Aside from being an iconic figure in an American musical revolution,  Skrillex won three awards including:

Best Remixed Recording (non-Classical):

In My Mind (Axwell Remix) – Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl
Promises – (Skrillex and Nero Remix) – Nero

The Veldt (Tommy Trash Remix) – Deadmau5
Midnight City (Eric Prydz Private Remix) – M83
Lie Down in Darkness (Photek Remix) – Moby

Levels – Avicii
