Rankings always bring about comparison. Comparing always brings about naysayers. Naysayers grow up to become bitter geriatrics. And bitter geriatrics listen to AM radio in the shower.

With EDM’s rise in 2012, everyone and their Aunt Debby wants to become a DJ/producer. Thus, competition is at an all time high. Thus, everybody is trying to create, produce and collaborate as skillfully and efficiently as possible while still building a brand that sells.

Agree or disagree, these are OUR top ten songs of 2012. No formulas for social media buzz or allegiance to the self-proclaimed kings of EDM.  Just the 10 musical masterpieces that overwhelmed us the most. Numbered in order of epic-ness.

Enjoy these talented artists and look forward to what EDM and Rager Onions has in store for 2013. Additions? Thoughts? Let’s hear em.
